Paul,
I don't know if you have this album by Bob James in your collection:

Bob James - Take It From The Top

If so, please let me know what you think...

If not, please give it a listen. Other than its superb selections of the yesteryear jazz standards, I am most impressed with its recording quality. It is so well balanced acoustically, that you can feel the energy and emotion. I am most interested to read your feedback on this, specifically on your system....thanks
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

    hey PT,

Picked this up today and listening to it for the first time. Rgr that on a clean recording. Definitely some chillin music.

Making me feel like I'm at Pat O's on Bourbon Street sippin on a hurricane:cool:

Any song in particular you want to know about or like?

    Paul, isn't it?

Two songs in particular for me, Straighten up and Fly Right and Tenderly. These two are just amazing, in terms of being able to listen to the nuances of the drums kick. Also, instruments separation are very distinct..love it!
