    Hello and welcome to Club Polk. I am not familiar with those speakers but if you Google, "American acoustics model number location", you will see a couple of threads that might help you. Otherwise, look at the current sales and past sales on E-Bay on other sites like Hi-Fi Shark and the like to see if they can lead you in the right direction.

    You will have to take the grill off though (carefully).

    Back in 1981 I had a pair of AAL 3600...I recall that they had a white woofer. It was part of my first stereo system. The system also had some low powered technics receiver and a BIC table. They store that sold it advertised it as "the big mamma". (I'm getting old)
