Looks more like December than June! Flowers are history after two days of this crap.
Hopefully these storms will help end our 3 year drought.

I've been enduring a temperature in the range of 99-110 F for the past few weeks in Palm Desert, CA. Those pics look so nice, I wish I am in that second floor bedroom with a light up fireplace. I agree that could be a PITA for plants, but I rather have that than this.I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

I just came in from checking for damage and found a 6' diameter, 8"-10" tall Water Pimple in the front yard!! The water had gotten under the sod and wasn't able to drain out fast enough. I tore open the sod and water came gushing out. Funy thing is the sod was laid down 2 years ago with 3" of new topsoil. Never seen anything like it!

Frank,
That looks an awful lot like my parents neighborhood, do you live near the Castle Pines area? There is no genuine justice in any scheme of feeding and coddling the loafer whose only ponderable energies are devoted wholly to reproduction. Nine-tenths of the rights he bellows for are really privileges and he does nothing to deserve them. We not only acquired a vast population of morons, we have inculcated all morons, old or young, with the doctrine that the decent and industrious people of the country are bound to support them for all time.-Menkin -
No I live in Colorado Springs. They are about 30-45 minutes north of me.

Hey Frank looks like you won't be cutting any grass anytime soon. Talk about put a stunt in the growth there.
Good to see you posting every now and again man. What you got your HT all maxed out now and you don't need us anymore eh?;)
I've only seen snow down here in New Orleans twice. 3 inches when I was three years old and about 1 inch in 1989.
It's only like 92 degrees out here with 85% humidity. You can cut the moisture and heat in the air with a knife it seems. -

Great, must be the same builder, neighborhood layout and floor plans are looking identical. My Wife and I might hopefully move your way soon..There is no genuine justice in any scheme of feeding and coddling the loafer whose only ponderable energies are devoted wholly to reproduction. Cool! Always use a few more polkie's around here! Let me know if you're ever in the area, visiting or otherwise.

Pj,
That's not snow, it's hail.
Trying to keep a low profile, got nothing constructive to add, so I'm taking my own advice and enjoying a nice cup of "Shut The F*** up!";) -
hey did you add all that white stuff with photoshop or something ?
That's just WRONG! in JunePolkFest 2012, who's going>?
Vancouver, Canada Sept 30th, 2012 - Madonna concert  -

Wow Frank. Man I thought for sure that was snow as well. Being in Colorado and everything I figured snow wouldn't be too unusual even now?
Hopefully no damage. Hail can wreck car finishes and house rooves for sure. We get our share of bad hail down here as well. I don't think I've ever seen it accumulate of rooves of houses like that before. -
Wow!! hail?! I thought that was snow, also....never seen that muchGeorge Grand wrote: »
