Tweeter Replacement In RT2000P
I've got a bad tweeter in one of my speakers. I even switched with other tweeter. Just incase it was a bad crossover. A small amount of sound comes out of it, but not near as much as the other tweeter. Has anyone put a replacement in? The metal dome stays on the bezel section when the tweeter is removed. Will I have to send the bezel section in with the tweeter when I get it replaced? Thanks.

ATCVenom, I would have sent you the 2000's a month ago. They were sounding just so-so. But now with the new Rotel gear powering them, hot damn they sound alot better than I could have imagined.. I sent the tweeter away today. I had to listen to music somehow, sooo. I removed the tweeter from the 400 center and installed it into the 2000. Oh yaa. just until my new tweeter gets here. I am using my old cs245 for the temporary center.:D FWIW The Polk rep that my wife talked to said Sony receivers cause alot of static and they can hurt the tweeters. He also said "tell your husband not to play his music so loud" oops!
