Will Peerless Tweets from a Monitor 10 work in a Monitor 7 ?

I'm hoping to audition a pair of Monitor 7 with the silver tweeters. I understand that the Peerless with the hole are the most desirable of the factory tweeters. Are the silver ones the least desirable of the factory tweeters ?
I have a pair of Monitor 10's that I got recently for $40 that has one driver with a small hole in it, but it has two working Peerless tweeters. Will they fit and swap with the silver tweeters of the Monitor 7 ? Thanks.

I assume you are referring by "silver tweeter" to the one on the left in this picture, which is the SL2000? Safe to say that general opinion is that it is the least desireable.
If so, the crossover is designed differently than the 7B and earlier models that had the Peerless, and the cutout in the baffle is larger. The one on the right is the SL1000 and the cutout would be the same. If it is a 7B that had the SL1000 I'd definitely recommend swapping in the Peerless.
