Living in NE Texas, I grew up a huge fan of the Von Erichs. When I was about 10 years old, most Saturday nights at 10:00, the TV was tuned to wrestling at the Sportatorium in Ft. Worth. Kerry was my favorite. That dude was jacked. Saw them in person when they came to town and my parents took my brother and me. I’ve never yelled so loud as when Kevin was trying to take off The Spoilers mask🤣🤣😂.

Side note: both Kevin and David played football at the University of North Texas.

Side note II: Stone Cold Steve Austin also played at UNT.

My daughter played HS volleyball with the daughter of Cowboy Bob Orton who we would frequently see in the stands watching his daughter. 👍
His son Randy Orton of WWF fame would occasionally stop by the weight room and talk with some of the coaches . My son's friend said that he was impressed by my son's performance in the "Thousand Pound Weight Club": Squat, Dead Lift, Bench Press.
    (He was admittedly a monster)

"Wrestling at the Chase" followed by Roller Derby with Joanie Weston was our routine Sunday mornings.
Drove by the Bay Area Bombers training "facility" in Alameda when I was stationed on TI back in rhe 70's. 👍🤗
