SDA 1C’s worth more parted out or whole ?

Well , I think I’m gonna replace my 1C’s …
Doesn’t seem to be a huge market for them locally , I can’t keep them , no room … and hate to just put them on the curb …

Are they worth more parted out or whole ? I don’t want to ship them , even though I still have the original boxes they came in ..

Opinions please ..

    I sold one of the most (if not the most) upgraded sets of 1C's on the market 7 or so years back for 6 bills.

    The choice would be up to you, sir.

    Have you tried selling them local ? What is condition of them ? Seems to me a clean pair of 1c' should go for a quick 3-400.00 with cord & coffins. Not sure what your looking to get out of them. Be a shame to part em out if condition is decent

    They’re in really good shape , bought them new …
    Maybe I’ll try Craigslist ..

    I suspect they’re worth more parted out on eBay … the rd-0194’s gotta be worth a few bucks ..
    It’s not about the money … I’d probably give them away to a good home - yeah , I know , I’m contradicting myself …. For chump change it’s not worth the hassle …

    Honestly, this isn’t a “make me an offer” thread … whatever they’re worth is probably insignificant in the grand scheme of things , especially given the hassle factor .

    Just wanted some opinions …

    Wasn't trying to offend by my statement. Had no idea you bought them new & I've never seen them. I'm sure they are worth more. As a Polk lover I would always try to keep speakers whole vs parting out. If they were damaged I could see that. May you have luck selling them & if parting out good luck as well

    No offense was taken !

    When I was an AF pilot late 80’s I bought the 1C’s , a denon dcd-1500 mk II, a Nakamichi CR-5 , B&K EX-442 amp and a PS audio 4.6 pre-amp - all new … I was in heaven… still have it all , basically in mint condition ! Still use it all except the Denon and the Nak , which are sitting in a closet .

    Bought a Yamaha R9 receiver and a Yamaha GE-60 graphic equalizer out of the “overseas catalog” …. Still fully functional , mint condition and in use till a few years ago … doing closet “duty” now as well ..

    You could say , I have a hard time parting with my stereo gear ….
