question about effeciency
i have a question for you all, I was checking out some car audio stuff, and before you tell me to post in the car audio section, i noticed a rockford sub with an efficiency rating of 85db and a maximum power rating of 1000 watts rms. This should theoretically achieve the same volume levels as a 91db sensitive subwoofer and a maximum power rating of 250 watts rms, right? If that's the case, then why is this subwoofer three times as expensive as the more efficient woofer, is this just exploitation of ignorance, or am I missing something here?
