Look pretty good. I'd say yes. Probably $200 in drivers if you parted them out (if they're working)

You don’t get much in the way of speakers for $50 in working order (tweeters and drivers). That’s pretty much the price of an Alexa speaker or a Google Nest Mini. A pair of working LS70 would be far superior to those by many orders of magnitude.

I also recall owners of the LS70 describing them as very good, with more of a laid back sound profile. They may not be up to the Reserve or Legend lines of today, but you won’t be buying a pair of any of those for under $500, especially floor-standers.

Just check that none of the main drivers are frozen (from a displaced magnet) and that the tweeters are also working — use a tube from a kitchen roll to isolate the sound. It doesn’t matter if any of the brass connectors are missing between the rear binding posts. Those can be replaced with a short run of speaker wire. Tighten them up before doing any listening or testing.

That wood finish looks gorgeous! 🤩
