Hall of Shame shut down?

I wouldn't say I'm a frequent visitor there but how on earth does a thread in the Hall of Shame get shut down anyway, let alone the whole forum? Why have a Hall of Shame in the first place? I thought it was 'anything goes'. :confused:
I guess it's just one of those mysteries of life. Kinda like "Why do successful business owners buy used audio?"
I guess we'll never know. :rolleyes:

    The Hall Of Shame is a place for threads to go when they get out of hand - but it is also there for newbies to read to stay clear of the people that ripped others off, and what NOT to do.

    The threads don't start there. They are threads in the regular forum that get out of control because Spyderman hasn't been banned yet and Cooter is 'an internet tough guy.' ;) Then Justin has to come in an' crack a couple skulls.
