Biampig isnt necessarily better for SQ, it just offers more flexibility in tuning the tweeters output. Other than that there is not real benefit from biamping over straight wiring. You will still have to use the supplied x-over unless the 4 channel amp has a variable x-over up to the 3500 khz neighborhood which most dont. If youre unsure about biamping then just snag ya a 2 channel amp at around 125 to 150 rms per channel and youll be just fine.

The Polk amps are pretty damn good. They make good strong power and are built well. CA&E did a review on the 300.2 a couple months ago and gave it glowing praise!

However they are a little on the pricey side. If Im going to pay $400+ for a 2 channel amp Ill opt for the JL Audio 300/2, or the Orion 4002. Those are better amps for roughly the same price and power output.
