Ok I have a Samsung CU8000 tv and a Samsung HW-Q60C Atmos soundbar. My question is when I go into the tv sound settings I do not see an option for Dolby Atmos, but when I play a Dolby Atmos movie, it does show on the front scroll of soundbar. Does this mean I am getting Dolby Atmos sound?

    Most likely converting it
    - Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

You won't hear real Dolby Atmos until you have a properly laid out surround system with surround/height/presence/rear speakers, like a 5.4.1 or any of the increasing variations with all those discrete channels directing sound from different points in the room. Soundbars can attempt it with little speakers oriented in different directions, but they are all still basically coming from the direction of the screen.
