Hello,

New to the forum and love that you all care enough to honor this great brand! New to retirement as well and I am digging out, well not really digging out but turning on my beloved SDA's. I have 3 sets, SDA SRS, SDA CRS & SDA CRS+ My goal is to upgrade all to more current components. Note: I am not an electrical technician so I am looking for those that offer the service (crossovers) and I will do the tweeters and I think I'll leave the mids for now but upgrade the small stuff. Thanks for all of the great info!

Here is my question - there is a person crossoverchef.com on ebay offering various sda crossover rebuilds in various options from do it yourself to just sending you completed builds. Has anyone used or had success with this service?

What do you anticipate spending on crossover parts?

Welcome aboard, most of us upgraded our own speakers. We used top tier polypropylene caps and resistors. I will tell you up front it's not cheap BUT they sound 10 times better if you have quality gear upstream.
