    Welcome to the boards.

To answer the first question that you didn't really ask, the key you're looking for is the "caps lock" key on the left side of your keyboard :)

From what I've read some people prefer Bi-wiring, some don't. Try it both ways and if you can hear any difference, go with the setup you prefer.

It's usually recommended to set your crossover on the reciever so you get a smooth transition between your mains and your sub. Most people set their crossover at 80Hz, but with RTi8's you could dip a bit further, depending on where you like the sub to take over. You don't want to double up, so disable the crossover on the sub itself.

Polk Audio LSi9, LSiC, LSi 7 // HSU STF-2 // Signal Cable Interconnects (SG BW/A2/MP)

Nice set up you have there.

    1. Different schools of thought on biwiring. I don't personally, but you should listen both ways.

    2. Your crossover will be in you Pre- Pro. You want to set it above the highest lower freq response of the speakers in your system, so you don't have a gap.

For ex., the freq response of your RTi8's is 30hz to 27 kHz, the 4's are 50hz to 27 kHz, if you set your crossver at 80 hz, you don't have to worry about the 20 hz gap.

The sub crossover is if your running speakers throught the sub. Use a line level input for the sub.

Also, FWIW, I would use the FX's ac side surrounds and the extra 4's for rear surrounds.

    Hope it helps...
