I thought this was a worthwhile 5 minutes. I guess I won't be cleaning up my cable mess like I wanted to one of these days and will listen to more music, instead.

This is why I cringe when I see people, even professional installers, who think it's neat and cool to run AC cords together with signal cables with zip ties.
Great advice. With the REL speakon cables once I determine where I want to position a subwoofer I cut the cable so it's only got about 3 to 4 feet of play in it. REL also makes a better version in different lenghts but those are kind of expensive. -

I have the Bassline Blue cables on my T/5xs. I got them for two reasons: one, like you say, they can be had in different lengths other than the ridiculous 10m (I think?) length of the factory cable, and two, you can get them terminated in spade connectors instead of the bare wire of the factory cable. But, **** if they didn't make an immediately noticeable improvement in sound, also, just like they say they do.

My power cords are very well shielded, but I still keep them away from the other cables.Political Correctness'.........defined

I got a nice chuckle watching that video. It seems kinda basic not to route cables like that but apparently not.
Frank at Signal Cable also makes a REL style sub cable. You just have to make some time available for cable management.
