    Merry Christmas!

I’m in the Saratoga area, about 5hrs from Ottawa.

If you’re up for the trip, I can ask him what he would be looking for.

I've been on this guy a bit this year, not as much as I'd like to have been. I switched out the purple accents with black, added a rack and bags on the back for some needed storage. It's super comfy. 7415miyk3q92.jpg

I was also off my gravel bike a lot this year. Didn’t help that early in the season, I noticed a small crack in my carbon fork that took the bike out of commission for 2 months while the manufacturer jerked me around.

Both the dealer and myself got fed up with the manufacturer and I ended up buying a replacement Enve fork for the bike from the dealer, at cost.

In reality, the Enve fork was a really nice upgrade. It rides great.

Now it has me considering a whole new frame set…

I'm sending off my shock to S4 for full rebuild and custom tune. It was 20% off. Then in Feb I'll drop my bike off for a full service. I could do lots of it but I'll treat myself.

Just received the email from S4. They will start working on my shock, a complete tear down and replace all seals and bushings, oil and what ever else. Then they are doing the custom tuning for me, ride style, weight, and for the bike brand. They also include a dyno test before and after.

Yeah, I have been contemplating sending my Kitsuma Air in for service and talking with Cane Creek about a possible custom tune.

In general, I'm really happy with how it rides. But I would like to see what they suggest for a bit more support on bigger compressions.

I am worried I might be looking to have my cake and eat it too.

I'm also really interested in trying Cane Creek's new Tigon shock.

It would be amazing if they had a "loaner" program where I could get the chance to ride one on my bike before dropping $800 on one.

You know I’m getting bored when I’m upgrading backup shocks that live in a drawer… :D

Added the low speed compression knob to the Float X that came stock on my Stumpjumper Evo. Figured it wasn’t the worst idea as I’m considering sending my Kitsuma into Cane Creek for a rebuild.

I just reinstalled my shock. Received it today. Can't test it for at least another 3 months. They took my volume spacer out and sent it back. I wrote to them tonight to find out why and if they can explain the dyno results in layman's terms.
