Send a photo of the transmitter. Is it just a generic M.2-based wireless card?
  • chris - are you able to see the picture of the transmitter. as far as the card you speak of, i am not sure. i am not versed in the area of wireless technology - so any suggestions you nay have would be appreciated. i have read about the possibility of just building a unit & i am not opposed to this idea

My only guess was if it was a generic inbuilt M.2 wireless card, you could have replaced it. I've seen some devices, like the Wii and Wii U use a generic card. I don't know if this one does, it seems proprietary, so I don't have an answer for you unfortunately.
