I can't get no satisfaction...

On their new album. Just not feeling it at all. What say you?

I mean, to their credit, they're still erect -- as in standing upright, that is. I don't know about anything else...

You listened to the whole thing?

    Random thoughts so far:

I like the (Keef?) guitar sound. (thanks Andrew Watt?) Some slide guitar (Keef?)

Mick buggs me sometimes. Use wah wah on your guitar, not voice. Just sing dude.

Ronnie remembered that he is a lead guitarist on some tunes. Great!

Steve Jordan is a good drummer, but no CW.

Here is a modded Hofner bass Sir Paul. You gotta play on this song now!

    Some country cool

I need a piano on this. Nicky is ded. Hello Elton? Hello Stevie Wonder?

Let's see if Lady Gaga will sing on our LP... classic!

Rolling Stones can still get blues

    Charlie's good tonight

This is the successful Rolling Stones formula. Glad they did it.
I liked the blues LP, but never really listened to it much. This
is a must have for RS fans.

Whole Wide World as the single?

I think it's better than A Bigger Bang, I've streamed it a couple of times since my CD and T shirt from the Stones store is not going to arrive until next week. I enjoy about 1/2 the songs it will grow on me nothing compared to the Mick Taylor era but these guys are what in thier late 70's early 80s and for this achievement it's ok with me. It wont collect dust like most of the others after Tatoo You, I would rank it it equal with Voodoo Lounge, as the better later Stones stuff.

Perhaps it's the over playing of Angry that is turning me off the album.
