Good Morning to the Collective

I am building a business plan for a micro business which is, of course, audio related. I may be reaching out to some of you for advice, ideas, or opinions via PM. The wealth of knowledge on this forum is immense and I can’t think of a better place to start. As I approach retirement, I want to spend more time doing things I enjoy and perhaps put the corporate grind on auto pilot. I may be putting some gear up for sale to fund this idea and purchase other gear. If you are interested in being contacted, just say “in”…and please be honest with your feedback. BTW….can we still post polls here?

Is this something where you'll buy the gear and test to make sure it has positive attributes and then make a recommendation? Or are you just looking at various pieces of gear and mating them based on specs and visual aspects.

I would think right out of the gate the R200's would be on the list. But they don't sound their best with any old piece of gear. I would think listening and experimenting with said gear would be part of the plan?

I can make a suggestion right now

Keces E-40 and Polk R200's, Pangea stands, Canare 4S11 speaker cables.

Keces E40 is a work horse and sounds fantastic. Not for loud SPL rockers in largish listening area.

Seriously look at putting the Keces E40 into you mix for consideration. It is superb for a smaller system. Run's my R200's great. Also has a superb phono section which is rare these days.

Good luck and do keep us posted on how things are progressing.

US Dealer for Keces. They have be superb to deal with.

The initial idea is both.,.make recommendations with professional utube reviews and offer entire systems based on synergies and clean looks that have the elusive WAF for interior decorating, The centerpiece of the system would be a streaming device with a large display/touchscreen. You nailed it in that the fun part will be testing gear and creating the videos. Thanks for the suggestions…

I like the clean look of the Hifi Rose gear… it can even replicate the VU meters on its display, and it has a great rep for sound quality,
