Sorry for the less than great pic, but it was the best I could do in the moment. A Google image search revealed 7As 7Bs and the like, but none of them seem to be a perfect match. The most glaring difference is the size of the midrange dust cap. I suppose it's possible these were repaired or modded at some point, but just curious if anyone could identify an exact match. TIA

That could be what is in there. 35mm aluminum voice coil. Would have to have a larger dust cap. 86.1dB SPL at 2.83V/1m is possibly lower output than a MW6500 though. Fs of 35.7Hz.

Rebuild the crossover, butyl mat outside and foam the inner basket frame, place a dowel front-to-back in between the MW and PR, then have a listen.Don't take experimental gene therapies from known eugenicists.
