    Honestly, I was sort of on the fence about buying this 2023 remaster on vinyl since I already got several versions. I finally broke down and ordered it last week and got it yesterday. I'll report back later on with my take on it. This one was remastered by Bernie Grundman. He also did the mastering on the OG 1977 version. Ordered this new copy from the zon and it arrived in perfect condition. Stay tuned for the official Mike Le Keiko review. . . o:)

    I have had the UHQR for a couple of weeks. It’s a great pressing and album. Probably listened 10 times since receiving it. Has to be in my top 5 albums and I have most of the AP UHQRs and Mofi One Steps. I recommend picking it up.
    2 Channel Rosso Fiorentino Volterra II, 2 REL Carbon Limited, Norma Revo IPA-140B, Lumin U2 Mini, VPI Prime w/SoundSmith Zephyr MIMC, Modwright PH 150, Denon DP-59l w/Denon DL-301MKII, WAY Silver 3 Ana+ Speaker Cables, WAY Silver 4+ Interconnect Cables, AudioQuest Niagara 7000 w/Dragon and Hurricane Power Cables

    Yeah, but not in my budget right now bro. Wish I could listen to one. I've heard the One Step's are pretty special. Enjoy!

    I finally got on it and spun Aja today. This is a very good remaster and worth the money I spent. Quality control seems to be getting tighter. My copy was clean and flat as it possibly could be. The sound quality of this remaster is really good IMO. Well done once again Bernie Grundman. Just like Can't Buy A Thrill, this pressing is dead quiet. No surface noise that I could detect.

    I'll have to do a comparison with my original, but if memory serves this remaster sounds fuller and has much more weight to it, sonically speaking. Physically it has more weight also at 180g. I still think the DCC cut mastered by Steve Hoffman is the best version even over my Japanese SHM SACD. I'll have to do some direct comparisons, but pretty sure the DCC is still top dog.

    This 2023 remaster is still worthy IMO and Mike Le Keiko gives it his thumbs up. So if ya got $30.00 and you don't know what to do with it, yeah, I would recommend this. These are just my opinions and observations of course, so YMMV.

    Aloha B)

    MOFI One Steps turned out to be a misnomer. Here is an example.

    OG = Original Generation
