Do you know why one side is shiny and the other side is dull? The answer is on the show "how it's made"
I larnded it when I went to go prove you wrong.
I don't wanna ruin it for Glenn. He's headin' up to the high school tomorrow in his IROC.I disabled signatures. -
"Tin" foil's like cars.
They make one side shiny, and the other side dirty, so you know which side goes up and which side goes
down... you know, in case there's a mishap and you find you have to... umm... reorient your car.
EDIT: Indeed, back in the CB radio days (ahem 10-4... Oct. 4th...), one of the favorite valedictory
comments was "Keep the shiny side up, and the dirty side down."
I saw a Tesla that was kind of a matte pastel black* when we were drivin' home from DC last week -- not sure how you know which side goes "up" if the auto-pilot gets a wild hair or somethin'...
_____________
* kinda like this one
Knowin' Elon Musk, Tesla prolly makes the underpinnings shiny just to mess with folks' minds.
