RT5000 7.1 system, RT3000p's, CS1000p, FX1000's, RT3000p sats and spares -ATL

Options
Well, I finally did it. I've decided to swap out my beloved RT5000 system with LSiM gear. I expected to keep this setup forever, so I collected spare amps, drivers, schematics, etc. through the years.

Here's what I have:

A pair of RT3000p mains. The amps work fine, new old stock installed a couple years ago, but I have two more spares that worked when I pulled them. (Maybe three... I'll have to look.) A pair of spare sub drivers, and a pair of mid drivers, too.

CS1000p center. I have a spare sub amp for this, and the spare mid drivers will work, if needed.

FX1000 surrounds.

RT3000p uppers that I used for rear surrounds.

Everything is rosewood, works just as it is supposed to, and in very good condition. I bought and sold several RT5000 systems, piece by piece, over the years and kept the best. Grilles are all fine, cosmetics are very good, and I even have the original set of sorbothane pads that go between the subs and top satellites.

Along with spares I have manuals, schematics, etc. I probably have more spares than listed, and will update if needed as I hunt through my stashes.

I would really like to keep everything together. First, because it is a unique setup, and second because it took me years to assemble.

Polkie price for all of it is $1,500. I'm in Atlanta, and could drive a couple hours to meet up if necessary. Might be interested in a trade for a pair of LSiM 300's or LSiM705's, or a single LSiM707.ujub4hl4cc43.jpg

I understand you want to keep the whole set together, but I'm super interested in spares. Do you have any spare CS1000p subwoofer drivers by any chance?

I'll look, but I doubt it. I have the mid drivers, but the CS1000p sub drivers are very rare...but you know that already. I do have a spare amp for the CS, though.

Thanks. I've been VERY happy with it for years. Hoping that I will find the LSiM based system to be an improvement, but I'll do an A-B test and let my ears decide. I'll share my opinions after the LSiM stuff is all installed and calibrated.

Thanks. This forum has been a special place for me. I checked and it says I've been a member since 2007, but I'm sure its been longer. Wanted to give Polkies first crack at these since I'd like it all to be appreciated.

How much for the spare amp shipped to Nova Scotia, Canada? I have a brand new spare RT3000p amp and midrange.

Current goal is 1 spare of each part. Need CS1000p amp, subwoofer driver, midrange. RT3000p subwoofer driver.

If youre talking $1100 Canadian, I'd actually consider that a fair deal for all of the spare parts not gonna lie.

4 amps, tons of spare drivers, seems pretty fair. If I was working full time and had my own house I'd probably buy his entire RT5000 set because I love mine too much to ever part with them but alas, I must stick to just the crucial components :(

You know if you were closer to Maine I'd buy it off you. I'm driving down to Maine to buy a couple PSW1200s and a spare parts CS1000p (probably will make it a project ngl) in March.

If you ever do decide to sell the spare parts separately, let me know ASAP

Will do. I've considered keeping it all for a few years and reinstalling it in the HT when I sell the house. I'd rather see someone else enjoy it, though.

The pics are a good sample of the cosmetic condition. I can provide more, if you like. The speakers are 20 years old, and have some use, but not abuse. I've owned multiples of all the speakers, and always kept the ones in the best condition and sold the 'less than' ones. I installed them in my HT and left them alone. That all said, when compared to the condition of most 20 year old speakers, these are at least 8 or 9 out of 10.

From a functional perspective, everything works, and I have spares for every component. Spare sub amps for the RT3000ps AND the CS1000p, (rare as chicken's teeth) crossovers, sub and mid drivers, etc. Original interconnect cables, manuals, too.

There's a set of RT3000p's on eBay right now in much worse condition and ask price is $1,399. Now, those have not sold, but I think my price is in the ballgame, especially with all the spares.

As far as getting them to you, I can meet you halfway or so if needed. FWIW, I flew to Charlottesville, WV and drove the RT3000p's back several years ago. I also drove from ATL to Tallahassee to pick up my 707's, 702's and 703's. As pittdogg2 said, road trips for new toys can be a lot of fun. Load up some great tunes, and coffee up.... you'll be there before you know it.

    Let's do a deal.
