when hooking up a take 5 system should they use sub out or should they wire the speakers through the sub?

    That's the Energy take 5 your buddy has?

    Did he get a receiver and what does the manual say for the Take 5?

    Without knowing the system, I'd say if possible run it through the receiver. That will give you the option to play around the LFE settings on the receiver.

    not sure I went online and their manual sucks big time.
    Yeah that's what he will be powering with what ever receiver he gets.

    I think he may lean towards the 5760 anything else maybe more than needs...

    I thought I would be able to look up the manual online and likeI said crap !! not sure if they considered sat/sub or small very small bookshelves.
