Super clean cabinets. Peerless tweeters and dome midrange work great. Serial numbers are close 45 and 49. 12” woofers need new foam.

I re-foamed them. I think they were my first re-foam job.
Can you re-foam woofers?Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them. -
How do they sound? I have replaced the surrounds in some Cerwin Vega speakers. I had Quantum 3 towers 25 years ago. Thanks. A specific surround kit is available for the Monitor Jr. I listened to them in the 70's. Nice speakers. Good luck with the sale.

Yes thanks. They are local for me. I called them. 40-50 a piece for them to do it. And they told me about this kit. I just have no place to use them. So I figured I’d let someone else decide what route to go to get them fixed. Peace. I faintly remember them sounding great. I still have them and can get to them easily.
I was re-foaming a pair a week back then so my memory is vague.
I think the pots needed cleaning on one or two of the controls but no biggy. I don't remember cleaning them.
Infinity has wide voice coil gaps that make them really easy to re-foam.
I cut my entrance to re-foaming on Infinity's. I was hooked. I bought a lot of speakers with bad woofers for very little and then had the new surrounds at my door in a couple of days.
Infinity was pushing their research limits all the time back then. The cabinetry was excellent too.
Re-foaming is FUN and to bring a pair back to life is really fulfilling to me.Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them. -
