Just saw this news on a local listserv:
https://audioxpress.com/news/b-c-speakers-finalizes-eminence-acquisition-in-the-us-and-china
My "supertweeters" (not really "super" -- it's all relative, frequency-wise!) are by B&C. Quite respectable they are as well.

Is this a good or bad thing?

This is not the speaker company that makes the planar hybrid speaker and the rotary subwoofer.

Eminence has a long and (mostly) proud history. B&C makes some fine drivers now. The acquisition price for Eminence was astonishingly low, so it's probably a good thing.
