Hey Josh, completely understand and admire your consideration for your neighbors. Do you have the kind of neighbors who are social and approachable? I was wondering if you could talk to them about your audio, and tell them what you might be interesting in trying, and see if they'd be willing to observe with you and give you some feedback.

I'm curious as to whether there might be ways to mitigate the sound/bass transfer to the other tenants' spaces.

A few things here - SPL for one, and also bass energy transfer through the structure. In my experiences in my earlier, more nomadic days, I found townhouses and apartments to be pretty quiet. May just have been the builders/quality.

Just wondering whether you might be able to setup your system with sub isolation and to determine output levels that your neighbors don't hear or feel.

Granted, would have to be some cool neighbors. People these days can be effing weird.
