I bought this new in November 2017 and it's been in my 2 channel rig ever since. It's a nice unit, it gets great reviews, and I've been very happy with it, but I'm upgrading in this area, so it has to go. It's still in my rig, so the pic isn't great I know. Not a scratch on it as far as I can tell. If I take it out of the system and find any nicks or scratches, I'll certainly disclose that information before selling. I have the original box for shipping.

This shouldn’t last past tomorrow at this price.

I’d like to buy your Furman! I’m new to the Polk forum, but I have lots of feedback with the same user name at US AudioMart, Audiogon and Audio Asylum.

I know I failed to put it in my ad, but the sale at this price is only for established Polk members. I planned to post it on USM last night for $250 shipped and I will sell it to you for that price. If it’s still here in about a week I will open up sales to anyone at the “Polkie price.”
No offense intended, it’s just that giving good deals to the Polk community is part of what makes this place special.Things work out best for those who make the best of the way things work out.-John Wooden -

Quick update on this, I actually purchased it as a gift for my friend Bruce. I talked about his system a bit here.
We installed it a few weeks ago, replacing the Monster Power center he was previously using which seemed to be starting to have some malfunctions due to age. For example the off button was no longer functional, and I noticed some inconsistent/unstable voltages when using an EMI noise meter.
So we replaced the Monster with the Furman, plugging everything including the Bryston amp into it, and listened to some tunes. Now the voltage was reading 122 and wasn't fluctuating like it was with the Monster.
Within the first 5-10 minutes he mentioned that it sounded different/better. We talked about what he was hearing for a bit and he mentioned there was greater separation of sounds, like more delineation between each element in a song. He said he felt like the Furman made a noticeable improvement to the sound.
I gave him a hard time about placebo effect and confirmation bias, but he insisted. And actually it was easy for him because he had no skin in the game. He didn't pay anything for the Furman, didn't have to make a decision about whether or not to keep it, and he liked how his system sounded before the swap.
A few days later he mentioned the great picture clarity and brightness on his TV which was also plugged into the Video bank of outlets. A few days later after that, he messaged me and said the sound was definitely improved versus how it was previously. "Imaging and separation. Detail" - Hell yeah! Seems like he's picking up on some clearly defined changes.
Anyway, thanks again Paul for the great deal on this, it's working out perfectly for its new owner.
