Anyone in here have any experience with Image Dynamics Components and Mid Bass speakers? Pros and Cons?

    the drivers themselves are superb... however the crossovers leave a little to be desired.

    up to 75 - 100 wrms you can run the crossover inside its casing. above that (ie 150 - 200 wrms) you're going to have to take the crossover out of its casing and mount it somewhere that it will get some air circulation... they have a "melt down" problem at high power.

    the other solution (and i think better) is to simply spend 15 - 30 bucks and build your OWN crossover network based on the cutoff points and slopes of the ID one.

    none the less... the speakers themselves are by far some of the nicest and most durable you'll ever purchase.
