This is one of my bestest friends from over 40yrs ago. We served together in the Army and I used to listen to him for hours upon hours when we lived in the barracks. Eddie would toss a record on his turntable and just start jamming to it.
I recall him playing with his Gibson Explorer and Lab Series 7 amplifier, rocking the walls of Helemano. We were B Co. 125th Signal Battalion and had our own military reservation attached to Schofield Barracks. We were Bravo Company, but in reality, Badass Company. We served in a peacetime Army under President Reagan, but we trained constantly as if we were at war. #GloryDays
