Great company, you should definitely buy whatever it is they are selling. Hell maybe if you buy enough Ted Denney can get a new Ferrari.

Everyone has to decide how much wire is worth, for themselves.

I didn’t have to go very far down that bunny trail to determine that more $ spent doesn’t necessarily equal better sound.

Even then, if it does sound better, diminishing returns sets in faster on cables than any other category in the signal chain I can think of.

Certain cables I spent more money on, sounded worse than my uber-affordable ones.

Best speaker wire is the duelund dca series. Stuff is seriously made with unicorn dust. I use it in literally every cable... Digital, analog, power.

With the amount of money someone would spend on those products they could pay for a short trip to see the Titanic up close in a collapsible carbon fiber submersible.

Sorry Ken, but as a Titanic historian of sorts, and as someone that knew one of the Ill-fated sub’s passengers, I find these types of comments to be disgusting and offensive.

    The onion is great.

My sympathy meter is low. I am sure all parties are aware of the risks of diving to those depths and they accepted those risks.

As of this post, 8 other active members of the Polk Forum found humor in it. It is dark and twisted humor but it is humor.

They didn't feel a thing (unlike many on the Titanic) and every one of them knew and understood the risks.

    It is what it is.

After 3 weeks of dealing with the man? I can honestly say that he is a true slime ball. He's the Frank Malitz of his company and is one of the main reasons that, unfortunately, the term snake oil still exists in today's marketplace. His reputation amongst industry leaders is very poor.

He has personally made it to where I will never own anything SR. What an arrogant load of donkey dung.

I tried one of their fuses, no difference at all, so a total waste of money. If it wasn't such a PITA to access the fuse location I would have thrown it away as I couldn't in good conscience sell it.

The real question people have to ask is how a small company can develop ground breaking technology on fuses every single year?

Since I tried them a while back I bet they have released 4 more models at ever increasing price points.

    Truly wild!

If I wanted to worry about fuses, I would get a swiss digital fuse box and use slugs in the place of the fuse. There are not many small companies that produce their own fuses.

The ONLY audiophile fuse company I know producing fuses from the ground up is hifi tuning. They use silver filaments and end caps, etc

I heard no difference using them over stock

Sorry about the Facebook link (for those who aren't members of FB). The comments pretty much mimic what has been stated above and speak for themself.

@invalid - That's pretty much my next move. I have a QSA Red and Black fuse in my amplifier's PS (and it was quite the upgrade) but I have read from multiple folks who had the same exact fuse in their fine systems report that the SDFB and the graphine sluggo blew away the sonic results of the QSA R&B alone.

I am hearing reports (publicly and privately) that the pig tail options Mark offers are somewhat restrictive. He even admits it himself, but is looking at exploring different options. There are now an increasing amount of different options for said pig tail. From Amazon, to Audio Sensibilities to Snake River Audio's Signature AMP and Takshaka 8" pig tails.

Reading a review on the SDFB elsewhere, the person mentioned their previously installed SR fuses were a big upgrade. They lost all credibility with that comment.
