RTi10 issues

Today I noticed that one of my RTi10 was much quieter compared to the other. I went through some speaker settings, replaced the speaker cable and swapped the L&R on the receiver with no improvement. The volume is much lower and muffled compared to the working set. There is no physical damage to drivers. I pulled out the crossover and I don't see any blown caps but I am not very knowledgable to use a multimeter to see if there are any issues. Does anyone have any ideas what could be the issue?

Probably a dead tweeter. Stick your ear up to it using the cardboard from a TP roll. No sound = dead tweeter.Political Correctness'.........defined

Yea you are right. I can only find used tweeters on ebay. I guess I will try. -
Part Express used to have a replacement. I’ll see if I can find the part number.Things work out best for those who make the best of the way things work out.-John Wooden

I removed both tweeters and conneced them directly to my amp at low volume. The tweeter is for sure dead. I can only find two listings on eBay (one for $67 or two for $69). Are there any other third party replacements?

You can search Parts Express yourself.

It's not all too hard to Google "Polk RTi10 tweeter part number", but here you are.
RD0690-1
RD0690-3
These are the two model numbers I found online claiming to be an RTi10 tweeter.
Two things to try:
1. Call Polk and see what they say. Do they have any stock?
2. Encompass.com, Speaker Exchange, Midwest Speaker Repair, and Parts Express. Do they have stock?
3. Ebay.

I finally found out that the Eminence SD28 will fit. I was able to tear out the tweeter from the braket and will install this new one. I am debating whether to get two to make them match. -
You should match the tweeters.Political Correctness'.........defined

Match them.
Also make sure the resistance (ohms) of the new tweeters are the same as the old ones.
