Battery generator?

I have run across Stromtanks but I haven’t run across someone using this.
Can someone tell me if this might be a feasible option for going off the grid with the upstream components short of the amplifier?
I’m thinking it might be a good solution to removing noise from the mains. Also protects from surges.
My only concern would be noise from a fan or something

Joey, I would look into an isolation transformer. That's the route I am looking into right now. More $$$ but they do not limit current, block noise and naturally protect from surges. They also eliminate ground loops and thwart high frequency noise coming from upstream power sources.
That said, if the isolation transformer gets a direct lightning strike (just as it will in a circuit breaker), the strike will jump over and offer zero protection. Much like unplugging your system but leaving the plugs just outside of the outlet....the strike can and will jump.
I have a small isolation transformer in between my DAC and my pre. There are no audible deficiencies at all. Only benefits/attributes. You just need to make sure you get the right VA for your systems needs (now and in the future).
FWIW.

I have a Jackery unit, forget the size but it's the same concept as this. I would not trust it to run the stereo. I can't imagine it could comfortably push the amperage required for big crescendos. And I think a full power stereo would rip through the battery on these pretty quickly. I mostly use mine for running my CPAP when I'm camping with other people. It can only run the CPAP for about 3 nights, and that only uses 60-100W. So I'd think it might run the stereo for a couple hours tops. Assuming the higher demand doesn't burn out the inverter.
Also the fan isn't loud, but it's audible for sure. The fan from the battery is louder than the CPAP.
If your breaker box has an input for a generator, and you get one of these battery ones large enough for that, it might work and could keep the fan far away. I don't know that I'd go through that trouble, but it's an option.Analog: MoFi MasterTracker > MoFi UltraDeck > Sutherland 20/20

This seems like it's designed for glamping. More than likely the inverter is of super low quality and though could possibly run your upstream audio fine, but more than likely produce dirty (noisy) power.
I have a 2K Renogy inverter/ charger that weighs more than that whole thing not including the AGM battery that powers it.
Like Tom said, go isolation transformer.Gustard X26 Pro DAC

Fascinating idea! Any real-world experiences with Stromtanks? -
I've heard that there has been some reliability issues with Stromtank.
