Any experience with VTL monoblocks (MB450 or similar) and 1.2TLs?

I am considering a pair of VTL MB450's. I already have a dreadnaught.

No experience with those mono blocks, but have with other VTL/ Manley amps. My experience has been very favorable.

Thank you. I should mention that these are early vintage (1996-2001) versions.

The Tl’s were the very last iteration of the SRS speakers of that series. There were two versions that came along, the SDA-SRS, the SDA-SRS 1.2, and last was the SDA-SRS 1.2TL… by now all of these speakers could be called “vintage”.

Yep. I could have been clearer. VTL has been making the MB450 for quite a while. These are Series 1 while the current offering is a Series III. The load setting for all MB-450 amps is 5 ohms. The latest versions' literature states an output load range of 4-8 ohms. I would think that these would work well with the 1.2TL, but wanted to run it up the flagpole before dropping $4k on a set of monos. It's not so easy to unload equipment these days.
