I have no idea how to start with in ceiling speakers
Hello, need so much help!
We got our house few years ago, and we have a really old soundbar 2.1 that desperately needs to be replaced.
We paid to have the ceiling prewiring installation when we got the house, but have no idea what to put there.
I have a Denon AVR S760. but have no idea what speakers to buy or how to choose them at all. plus the review confused me a little: "What we don’t like about the AVR-S760H 75 watts per channel is somewhat on the lower side, and it is likely to be a concern to a section of potential buyers " from https : // audiocurious. com/denon-avr-s760h-review/ .
LAYOUT: the house wiring is 1 speaker in each corner of the living room space, one in the front middle and one for the subwoofer in the right corner close to the floor.
I drew the layout in case im not making much sense.
I've been thinking about buying polk for a while, but don't know which ones. I like listening music while cleaning, cooking, and working so getting something better to a really old, and crappy soundbar will be a win! (hopefully on a budget-ish way)
Thanks

I use Polk in ceilings on my front porch, the 90 RT I think it is. They sound good but the bass is a tad one notei use in ceiling definitive for my home theater and have been extremely happy with them.
I would say while they cost a little more then the Polks, they do sound alot more natural and better overall.- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
@Charlotte budget really makes a huge difference. I think this is @VR3's center: https://www.ebay.com/itm/193415380633?epid=69606855&hash=item2d08747e99:g:x1QAAOSwFK5ejhlh&amdata=enc:AQAIAAABAEx6W/J+1qX0ZzS83Mv3PObSc2k+kgtXKdYmtHPE0p1Xl/aSpGN4MnRp6+5CR+NpBSmaAqCSzutY97KZt2XPPiZ3NNNXBZujCQlfZdXYI+Vniz+VQaU6k1FMyp/ZYShmZdw8iA+aXri9EKch+LF0Ent+Q0vmW54kShXQgJzKuT8hZbbq+NYqOSnWpg6tM/5Av/BWzCSD2HeG+tq/+gtPnuA9OxGJVep26o3I9bFJ7xdwdff4oKVz8aQRaOaPAhOU/G0F4modrQlWqhS/kzN7ezeuC5gTEgun4Iev4HLI7rZ5E+OSagqcAVXgoO8Vh0PhD5UZpUK/ZdzIAYn/vCPPgbw=|tkp:Bk9SR6yI68f_YQ
That's a lot pricier than entry level Polks, but it's also going ot sound a lot better...Living Room 2.2: Usher BE-718 "tiny dancers"; Dual DIY Dayton audio RSS210HF-4 Subs with Dayton SPA-250 amps; Arcam SA30; Musical Fidelity A308; Sony UBP-x1000es

Yes I use those for the front 3 but I paid on average 300 each and I hot rodded the crossovers- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

Well. You put the speakers in the incorrect places.
Ceiling is intended for Dolby atmos and dts x.
