Looks kind of like what a Squeezebox Touch could have turned into when it grew up if Logitech had supported the team that developed it.

Sits nicely below CXN, C700, M10 in terms of cost. Only a bit more than Node, but with touchscreen capabilities and balanced connectivity.

Haven’t found it online for purchase yet. Little brothers are available on Amazon, but less features. I want digital outs so can use my own dacs.

If it's true that a 2TB SSD can be put inside with USB ports for external drives that makes it very interesting as a local music server beyond the streaming services.

That’s why I also posted a purely subjective review.

My interest is piqued when there’s consensus between the objective/subjective audiophile camps.

Not in the market but I’m no stranger to streaming and this looks amazing and especially at a price point where it’s going to give the entry level enthusiasts something to think about! I believe it will do well!! The video was put together nicely too!

I’ve had a hard time finding where to buy. Seems like Amazon, but couldn’t find it there.

We carry these at our shop and they sell out as quick as we get them.

There is also a masters edition with better op amps and some other improvements. We feel it’s a step above a node streamer but not at the LUMIN level but close. LUMIN has better separation but for the money this thing rocks.

There is a DAC Z8 which we’ve used and liked. It’s around 700 I think. There is a Z6 as well which is their smaller one and it’s roughly 500 for it.

Sorry, I haven't looked through all the info, but see a reference to local storage above. What's the deal on storing FLAC and DSD files on this device?

I see now, it has a slot for a SSD, but no disk is included with purchase. Apparently the slot is accessible from the outside, without having to remove the cover from the unit. Hopefully it's plug-and-play. This might be a good way for me to re-purpose the SSDs in my Nativ Vita, which is currently not fully functional.

It a certain type of SSD (I'm not up to speed on the various types), but its a easy install and then you need to make sure you format it and name it, then the unit will recognize it. Transferring files is fairly quick from another source, I did mine from my NAS. also make sure you add it as one of your librarys.
