Two Part Question
Thanks to Everyones input I have decided to go with a full Polk speaker upgrade. I also gave away my others so that just helps it along. I wanted to find out what people think of this set-up and the CC prices I have found.
Rti8 front current price ...$249 each
Csi3 Center current price...$180
Fxi3 Surrounds current price...$262/pair
for the time being the following pieces will still be in use....
Onkyo TX-SR800
JBL 10' 150w sub
I found a Csi5 for $199 but its pretty ruff and when I asked about the warranty the sales guy said it would have a full warranty IF I could register it (open box) scared me away from it.
any thoughts would be great.

Sounds good. Is the CSi5 in really bad shape or what? If there's nothing wrong with it sonically, then I'd say get it. Polk offers a 5 year warranty, just as long as you buy from an authorized dealer. In my opinion the CSi5 sounds much better than the CSi3, but that's just me.

go ahead and get the CSi3...
Yu can always move that to the rear center channel if you decided to upgrade to a 5...
