Need a replacement for Polk SWA500

I have a perfectly good POLK CSW100 subwoofer in the ceiling and a failed and fried POLK SWA500 amplifier that cannot be repaired as per Polk authorized service. What can I use to replace this amp that will work with that subwoofer? Polk has discontinued that amp.
Can anyone recommend a competitor model and the minimum specs that will guaranteed drive this subwoofer? I would hope Polk realizes that the SWA500 failed for many people -- and we now have an expensive airvent in the ceiling. For that, can someone recommend various amps and price points under $400 perhaps? Thanks for any advice!

Hello,
In a previous discussion of this subject this was offered as a replacement:
Behringer NX1000D or NX3000D

Thank you for your kind reply! -- how concerned do I have to be in that the specs are much different than the SWA500? I have the CSW100 subwoofer.

One more - I use a Marantz SR5008 av receiver

"...how concerned do I have to be in that the specs are much different than the SWA500?"
The SWA500 incorporated some specific equalization to compliment the CSW100 woofer (if I remember correctly there was a circuit board that plugged into the amplifier depending upon which woofer was being used). However the NX1000D does offer some adjustment capability that should be able to get the most from the woofer. You might need a connecting cable that is RCA on one end and 1/4" phone plug on the other end.
