TriangleART Reference SE Prototype...

For sale is my treasured TA Reference Prototype. It is a one of one table and no other in the world looks like it. Designed and built to test the design concepts of the 25k plus Reference SE tables that are among the best in the world, my table has been a pleasure to own from day one.

It is MASSIVE and will require an exceptionally strong place to put it. Made of aircraft/military-grade aluminum billet, I have had the table nickel anodized to protect the raw aluminum from oxidation and fingerprints. The top face of the plinth has been painted in Ferrari Nero Black, which sets it off nicely. There is no tonearm, cartridge or cable. It does come with a carbon fiber mat, outer periphery ring, Walker Precision Motor drive, and rebuilt motor tower. I would recommend a belt replacement, and they can be found anywhere.

Local pickup is nearly mandatory, due to the 200 pound weight of this thing, but if a buyer can be found, I will be happy to either deliver or meet halfway up to 200 miles.

My loss, your gain... price is $4200.

I'm going to pretend like I didn't see it. Should work for me since I owe DSkip a chunk.

As Tom indicated... sale is pending. This must be some sort of speed record for something like this. :D

Shipping will be costly. No doubt there.

Thanks all for the Congrat's and PM's. I have been talking about stepping up my game when it comes to LP's for way too long now, TBT. This is the catalyst that will bring my game on.

Slight delay on the new stereo room but it is what it is.

Damned you, John and thanks at the same time.

Congrats to you both! Tom, I know from our brief conversations how passionate you are about audio and I don't think this could go to a better home, enjoy!

Congrats to both parties here. Looks like an amazing deal. I was fully expecting the price tag to be five figures, even without a tonearm or cartridge. Hopefully that Origin Live tonearm has been put to good use somewhere else.
