i using polk rtia7 for main csia6 for center and need some rear speakers the room. The room is 19 x 13.5 feet the sofa is on the long wall as picture.i had the hw 990b set up as you see it did not work great with my sony a80j and music was not great movies with atmos was great.now going back to av receiver as i used to have the rta 15tl with csi a6 and bipolor in the rear and the room was opposite way with the sofa on smaller wall like it should be.after renovation made my wife happy and put the new sofa this way.so now i was thinking to buy some es15 to put where the rear speaker are in the picture or to get something like the Paradigm Monitor Surround 1 V7 bi-directional and put it on the rear wall about 1 foot from side wall and equal distance from center to the other side and about 2 feet above sofa.my ears are about 2ft from back wall and i cant put to big of a speaker.in wall is a no and later on im going to put atmos in the ceiling or on top of front mains speakers.what do you suggest

Can't really get rear surround in that configuration but you could do better with the side speakers. That could require moving the sofa a couple feet away from the side wall and having the left and right surround speakers firing directly at the central listening spot. They are at the correct ear height as "bed layer" speakers for Atmos.

The room would look less open and inviting if the sofa and TV were switched in position.

It might upset the dog to take up the whole left wall (in the first photo) to have the sofa centered on the wall and have the speakers up against the side walls. That would be ideal for sound but the system would take over the whole room.
