Well it depends on your musical tastes. If you are into rap or music where bass is pretty much all there is to it then you should go with 2 8s which will have more surface area and move more air. If youre into rock, metal and sound quality then go with the single 10. It wont be as loud but will blend with the music a bit more equally. Plus it will be easier to install.

Me personally, Id go with a Diamond Audio CM3 10D4 and give it 500 rms. That will a lot of bass for the inside of a truck and will be more musical rather than just all bass.

However if youre wanting to listen to bass then go with 2 Diamond Audio CM3 8D4's and give em 400 rms each. That will be plenty loud.

I don't know what the subs xmax is but I'd imagin the momo has greater xmax.....making the displacement close....

    I'd go 1 10"

either way, they will probably be the same in SPL, the 2 8s would probably be a little louder...but 2 subs look much cooler than one:)

depends on the sub and the install. Ive had some 8's that sucked.- solo round 8's and some that have kicked azz... JL8wo
dont knock it just cause its an 8.

    heck..3 8w6's would be a deadly combo with about 1000 w.

and I dont like JL :)

    8's are very cabable subs.....the L78, W78, Tandband 8, JBL gti8, RE8.......all can blow your mind with 6-8 of them off 1000w-2000w

    I'd put 2 L7 8's in there.....amazing little guys

or stick with the 10" idea

The two L7 8's would look sweet too.

Yeah, I really like the L7s. They can handle a lot of power, will work in a very small enclosure and put out a lot of bump!
