Time to thin out my Monster Sigma M2000 ME2K herd.
Not to be confused with the newer made Monster Sigma Retro Gold Cables, these are the originals. And as far as I'm concerned sound much better, I've had both in my system.
To me the Retro Gold's were a warmer sounding cable.
Here are 2 pairs of matching cables. I've checked the jackets and found no snags or separation of the jacket.
Connectors are in really nice condition. Only marks I can find are on the ground part of the cable's connectors. Hope the picture shows the marks.
If you'd like more up close pics let me know.
Ohming out all cables I read 0.2 ohms on my Fluke.
Don't think I can check capacitance as the meter I have only reads to 200pf. My capacitance meter is one I used at work to verify the capacitance of our 13.2/23KV cap banks before putting them into service on our system.
How bout $200 per pair... and I'll pay shipping.

Pics on their way once they've loaded onto my computer.

One thing...
These are really tight connectors. When pulling them off you must twist them while removing. Not doing this can pull the outer part of the RCA connector off. This happens on lower grade gear with the cheapest of RCA connectors, ask me how I know this 😂
The turbines on the ME2K cables are crazy thick. -
Here's a unicorn...
2m pair of Monster ME2K M2000 Sigma interconnects. You can find .5m & 1m lengths all day long.
Ran the cables thru my hands and felt no frays in the jacket.
Barrel of RCA's have a couple of scuffs.
Let's stay with the $200 theme.

More coming...
-
Let’s do a price drop to $100 per pair.
I’ll still pick up the cost of shipping to the 48’s… -
Monster Sigma 2m M2000 pending...
-
My bad, someone pointed out the $100 price drop from $200. I meant for the phono cables but, I will honor that price on the 2m pair RCA's too...

Ah, ya got me, I'll try a set of the phonos, please, Skip.
Also, looks like you have a motorcycle clutch cable in that bundle, as well. I can use it if no one else has spoken for it.I disabled signatures. -
You got it Scott.
Hmmmm... you got me on the clutch cable 😳
-
PENDING...

Still have one Sigma 1m phono cable excellent condition.
Have another 1m Sigma cable that's missing the ground lead.
Sigma RCA's I have 1 2m left & 3 1.5m cables.
Still have a couple of the original cases....
The one on top of the last pic is the original case my 2m RCA's came in.
No longer have the insert though.
Also have a 1m XLR M2000 Sigma.
And a pair of really long XLR Sigma XLR's. Will have to measure those. -
Thanks Skip I'll go with the phono cables for sure, please. I'm mulling the rcas I can confirm tomorrow if ok
-
Skip - rubber cable pants 👖 on these cables are what made them look like you had a motorcycle clutch cable bundled up in there!I disabled signatures.
-
@skipshot12 I'll go with just the phono for now, please. I'm curious on the rca, but am trying to be better budgeting.
-
I've PM'd to find out how to pay to wrap this up. Thanks,
-

Bahahahaaaaaa....
Gotcha.
Those are ME2 Sigma Speaker cables and they're beasts!
If I'm not mistaken they're close to a 3 gauge, will have to verify that. Those fire hose suckers are about 1 inch in diameter.
I have some issues with the remaining ME2 Sigma Speaker cables, ends are cut off on the pairs I have left.
Monster terminated the ends with what were called cold weld terminations.
Basically what that meant was they were crimped on at something stupid of a crimp press. Don't quote me on the number but it was something in the range of a 10-20 ton press. -

Both pairs of phono cables are SOLD.
-
Have any Monster Cables left?
-
Yes I do……
Haven’t started to list my Sigma XLR’s yet.
I’ve gone back to my Legacy-Audio interconnects and no longer use any of my Monster’s. -
shoot me an email at dclark2171@gmail.com with what you have left and how much you are asking. Thanks
-
Will do Clark…..
