So I am sitting on a fence on this one. I love this DAC and it truly sounds nothing short of spectacular but I believe I may want to test the waters to see what all is out there.
I have about 800 dollars of assorted tubes for the DAC that I would include if anyone is interested.
I am thinking $5,000 + any shipping.
Below is a stock photo of the internals, mine has a BNC and USB input, analog RCA out. QUAD c core core transformers versus triple ($700 option). If there is any interest or I become really serious to move it onwards I will post additional photos of the real mccoy!

Tom~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~ -

Looks pretty sweet... Currently I am allergic to anything that's not a R2r so it wouldn't qualify unfortunately 😭- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

I guess the tube requirement rules out a Holo Audio DAC."This may not matter to you, but it does to me for various reasons, many of them illogical or irrational, but the vinyl hobby is not really logical or rational..." - member on Vinyl Engine

Yeah the only thing in my system with tubes is the dac and every 2 channel rig needs tubes somewhere.

the La Scala has been on my radar for quite a while. Not sure why I couldn't pull the trigger, as I AM INTRIGUED BY THE R2R TOPOLOGY
