    Wow, nice to hear Salk will go on. Jim and Mary are great people! Loved running into them at the shows.

    I still have the SS8's with custom veneer that I picked up in Nov 2013. Wife and I got the tour of the shop and the veneer vault!

    Just heard about this today as well. Buddy of mine picked up my Encores from Jim and Co yesterday and brought them back east for me. I wish Jim all the best…I am curious how drastic the price increases will be though.

    Not sure if you are interested in pre owned but there is a beautiful pair of them in Claro Walnut for sale on USaudiomart. Look to be in excellent shape.

    Mrs. H would not be amused if I bought a loudspeaker company -- even if I told her that it cost less than many stereo pairs of loudspeakers do nowadays.
    (and she doesn't even know about Dolby Atmos AFAIK)
