Where are my emails?

I thought I posted this topic earlier today, but I don't see it. Anyhow, I'm terminating my landline and internet with Windstream. I think my Outlook emails and folders are stored on my pc, right? I don't want to lose stuff when Windstream bites the dust with us.

Side note, wife is making me get a cell phone for the 1st time in my life before losing the land line so she can haunt me daily.

Outlook does put the data on the hard drive of your pc. Newer versions of Outlook put it in the Documents\Outlook Files folder. Older versions put it in hidden folders.

In case it helps - Cellphones don't always have signal. Even when they do, it's easy to accidentally turn off the ringer. ;-)
Expect that there will be bumps in the road. Choose to not let them rattle you.

Yea, the Mrs has turned off the ringer several times by accident on her iphone already. I just might do the same.... accidentally on purpose. To my surprise there are plans out there that have no data for super cheap. I doubt I'll go for that, prolly need data to check baseball scores when on vacation.

Hey Bob, if your emails only live on your computer, you'll want to consider getting a system backup routine of some sort of you don't already have one.

You can Google a bit for specifics on your setup for mail server type and local file locations.

For good measure either way, you'll want to disable send/receive for that account after you terminate service.

What're you gonna do for email after?
    Outlook, Yahoo, Gmail, Proton?
    I disabled signatures.
