The Kenwood will "get you by" until you can get a better 4 ohm amplifier. Keep volume low, real low! Don't play for long periods. The 2A's need a strong 4 ohm amp as they will dip into the 2 ohm range.

Agree they start at 4 ohm and drop like a rock. Keep an eye on the amp if it gets real warm back it down.

The SDA2A'S don't quite dip down to 2ohm, more like 3.5ohm at 100-130hz. You do want to use the volume control conservatively, as I know from over 30 years of experience with these speakers that they can take out an amp with modest build quality, as I've done it many times in the past.

I have never been one to crank the music. I have rarely ever taken the volume to even half on this Kenwood.
