Need help setting up ES35 SoundBar + ES15 Bookshelf speakers

in Basic Hookup/Wiring Questions
I got an ES35 Soundbar and ES15 Bookshelf speakers and am overwhelmed by the complexity of how to set this up. Are the soundbar + ES15's meant to go together? The ES15's need some external power source?

The ES15's didn't come with any wires.

I am looking to connect these to my TV.

    The ES35 is a center channel speaker, not a soundbar. It pairs well with your 15's. Unfortunately they are not powered.

    You'll need an AVR & the required cables to connect it all to your TV.

    In addition to an AVR, HDMI and speaker cables you're going to need a subwoofer and surround speakers if you're trying to make a 5.1 surround sound system.
