Need all input on the bass quality between these two subs... Listen to rock and movies. I have two CHT-12 already...but can return them for two CHT-15. I like how the 12 sound...but would like more shake with-out losing sound quality. The CHT-12 has 165 watt RMS...and the CHT-15 has 250 watt RMS. They have to order the CHT-15...not in stock. Thanks in advance

    Here's a recent thread on the CHT-15

I think the 15 will definitely work better for home theater...have concerns about a driver that big being 'fast' enough to do accurate music though...having said that I've never heard one...

I brought both home last year. I felt the 12 might have had slightly more of a crisp punch at around the 100hz to 60hz range. The 15 will go substantially lower and is a beast in comparison. I'd say for rock, go with the CHT-12, for movies go with the CHT-15. Personally, I kept the 15.

I have the CT150 wich is the older mod of the one your seakin. Ive had it for about 2yrs now and its a great sub...music or movies. I have mine xover at 60hz anyway..due too I also have powered towers and dont need the ct-150 going that high...

Imo..get the 15's...you will regret it in the long run.
