Subwoofer Amp Recommendations

Hey all,

I have one of these ...
https://www.parts-express.com/Dayton-Audio-RSS390HO-4-15-Reference-Series-HO-Subwoofer-4-Ohm-295-469?quantity=1

And I just ordered one of these...
https://www.parts-express.com/Knock-Down-MDF-3.0-ft-Subwoofer-Cabinet-for-Da-300-7078?quantity=1

I'm thinking about one of these, but wanted some opinions before I pull the trigger...
https://www.parts-express.com/Bash-500S-500W-Digital-Subwoofer-Amplifier-300-752?quantity=1

This will be used in an 11'x13' room with the Wharfedale Linton's.

Also, I have extremely limited experience and have never built (or assembled in this case) a speaker or subwoofer before, so I am looking for the easiest path.

Thanks,
Paul

Me personally. I will never buy a BASH brand plate amp again. Had 3 failures in 2 years. I bought a few of the HSU plates PE had one sale a few years back. They are great. So far at least.

I have been thinking about a very similar project. I would like to use the amp that SVSD offers as an upgrade for their SB-13Ultra. I have already installed one in my SB-13U and it is great! the SVS app allows for easy set up and using your phone to change settings is way easier than accessing the back of the sub. Looks like you need to call SVS customer service to order, The link below looks like a similar project to your.

Any idea if that would work with a 15” ?

1200 watts RMS up to 4K peak. It should be fine.

A friend uses the linked Dayton plate amp with a 12” TC Sounds build. He’s been running it for at least 4-5 years without any issues. Sounds great.
