my soundbar is making weird noises and the display on the front that shows volume increase has a continuous green hue flashing.

The recommended thing to do is to leave the AC power turned on and unplug the power cord, leave it unplugged for a few minutes and then replug the power cord. You might have to do this a few times to completely reset it.
